Steps to Sponsor a Train!

1. Complete Sponsor Application.

2. Send Sponsor Application and check for $900 to:

3. Choose a design from artists submissions on file at our office, work with an artist we have on file to create a design for your train, or choose your own artist which can be within your organization or family. (All designs must be approved by EDA)

4. Artist costs and fees are responsibility of the sponsor. EDA will work as mediator between the artists and sponsors to make sure all requests and work is completed by both sides.

5. Sponsorship of a train statue does not mean ownership of the train statue. EDA still owns the train statue until we auction them in the Fall of 2008 to raise money for our non-profit organization. *Sponsors may purchase the train statue for an additional $1,000 if they inform EDA that they wish to purchase the statue before June 1, 2008 and the payment must be received before July 1, 2008 or the train statue will be auctioned.

6. The train statues will be in possession of Estill Development Alliance until the auction in 2008. The sponsor can choose where they would like their statue to be located in Estill County until the auction. We will have maps made so visitors can see the statues on display throughout Estill County. Also a pictorial book will be made with each train pictured somewhere in Estill County’s beautiful scenery. If a sponsor purchases the train statue then they will receive possession of it after the auction.
